A word from the President
RADDHO’s mission can be summed up in these words: to promote, defend and fulfil the fundamental rights of human beings and peoples in Africa, taking into account their universality, indivisibility and interdependence. For thirty years, the Organisation’s activists have spared no effort to achieve the ideal to which they are committed. The ideal of living in an Africa where values, democratic practices, the universal principles of human rights, equality between men and women, justice and the rule of law are fully realised. This RADDHO site is a platform where actions towards the realisation of this ideal will be presented or highlighted for researchers, human rights activists and anyone else seeking information or knowledge. The site, which is intended to be interactive, will also serve as a tool for communication and dialogue between different categories of stakeholders.
